What can we do?

Don't look at the big picture, it is overwhelming.
We are not going to be able to eliminate all harmful chemicals from our environment,
or our bodies... they are everywhere.
Start small, change what you can ...
We do have CONSUMER POWER.
That is the only thing companies will listen to,
if it affects their profit, that's when they will care.
We CAN buy smart...
avoid these hormone disrupting chemicals.
Buy:
PARABAN FREE products
PHTHALATES FREE products
BPA Free (Bisphenol free)
Use reusable bags for produce/groceries
Use reusable stainless steel water bottles
Go organic if you can...
Check out the "Dirty Dozen" and "Clean Fifteen" of veggies & fruit!
READ the Ingredient list!
Avoid FRAGRANCE or PARFUM
(the ingredient "fragrance" or "parfum" in our products includes all kinds of chemicals that are unlisted; there is a loophole in the cosmetic industry, that does not require nor regulate companies to individually list the ingredients in "fragrance/parfum")
More and more companies, are placing front and center on their products labels "PARABEN FREE / PHTHALATES FREE / BPA FREE"
look for these, buy these.
The simpler the better for you
I like my conveniences as much as the next person.
But had I known, if someone had put 2+2 together for me and explained to me what these synthetic chemicals are doing to our bodies, to our health, I might have thought twice. I might have started making changes many years ago for myself
and my children.
It's easy to ignore until it happens to you.
Cancer woke me up.
Start small, it’s not as hard as you think.

and how to look for safer products.
